Liverpool Universities: Interested in business, education has taken a great attention in Liverpool. Liverpool is home to prestigious universities that have become a tourist attraction. These include Liverpool Hope University, founded since the early 19th century, Liverpool John Moores University (abbreviated LJMU), which was ranked among the most important universities in the world, Edge Hill University, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and other universities. النشأة والتاريخ لا بد لنا أن نعرف أن هذه المدينة قامت على تاريخ بحري، ذلك لأنها نقطة التقاء نهر ميرسي مع البحر الإيرلندي، ومن هنا جاء اسمها الذي يعني بالإنجليزية “خور الماء الموحل”، أو حوض الماء
الموحل، وبعضهم يذهب إلى أن الاسم يعود إلى يكن، ٌ طائر بحري يشبه النورس يسكن المنطقة. أي إلا أن طبيعتها الجغرافية أفادتها كمرسى بداية القرن الثالث عشر، حيث نشأت كقرية صغيرة عام في عهد الملك جون، الذي أمر لاحقا ببناء 1207
لو أدرت مؤشر البحث صوب هذه المدينة، ستجد أن الجامعات هي أول ملامحها، وهذا زاد من قيمتها كمدينة عريقة لها تاريخها وثقافتها، إلا أن للمدن أسرار لا تبوح بها محركات البحث، ولا يمكنك إدراكها ما لم تشد الرحال إليها تتلمس خصوصيتها وتتحسس جمالها. ، إنها مدينة أشهر فرقة في العالم البيتلز الشهيرة، مثلما هي مدينة النوابغ ورجال السياسة والعلماء والكتاب. في منتهى الخصوصية حقا ليفربول مدينة ، والسير هنري لوسي أحد 1807 فمن منا ينسى المؤرخ ويليام روسكو، عضو البرلمان الذي كان له الفضل في إلغاء العبودية من الإمبراطورية البريطانية عام للمدينة. دون أن ننسى “التايتنك” تلك السفينة التي فارقة إلى جانب فريق “ليفربول” العريق الذي أصبح علامة في العالم، طبعا أكثر الصحافيين احتراما أصبحت أسطورة درامية وشعلة حب أبدية.
