ٌ آخر ٌ وأنتم بخير، عام ٍ كل عام يطوى و”البحري” في أوج عطائها وذروة تشغليها، تعمل ً بدأب وجدية لتكون نموذجا يحتذى به بين الشركات العالمية. زاخر بالأعمال والمنجزات؛ ٌ عام ٌ عالمية وأخبار ٌ جوائز وشراكات طيبة، الأمر الذي ما كان ليتم لولا توفيق الله ودعم قيادتنا الرشيدة ورؤاها الاستراتيجية، وبجهود أبناء “البحري” وعطائهم في جميع أقسام الشركة. في هذا العام، تم تكليل جهود الشركة الدؤوبة في دفع عجلة نمو قطاع النقل البحري بتتويج البحري بـ”جائزة أفضل مشغل للسفن”، و”جائزة قائمة لويدز للابتكار في أنظمة المعلومات”، و”جائزة أفضل شركة نقل لعام ، حيث نقرأ الخبر بالتفصيل 2017 داخل هذا العدد.
I would like to wish you a happy new year. Another challenging year ended wherein Bahri continued to thrive and expand, cementing its reputation as a global leader in logistics and transportation. The last 12 months have been extremely successful in terms of building our business and we have been recognized for our efforts in the form of prestigious awards and the forging of new global partnerships. We are thankful to all members of Bahri for a successful 2017. In 2017, the company’s relentless efforts in driving the maritime sector were recognized through three prestigious awards that will be covered later in the magazine. They are the “Ship Operator Award”, “The Lloyd’s List Intelligence Innovation Award”, and “Transport Company of 2017 Award”.

في ٍ ملهمة ٍ مع شخصية ٍ شيق ٍ أخرى، حظي عدد مرساة هذا بحوار ٍ من جهة عالم البحار، الزميل عبد الله اليامي، النموذج السعودي الذي نفتخر به. كما من حياته الشخصية وسيرته المهنية. ً نقرأ جانبا اع نقل النفط”، حيث استضفنا ّ كما نلقي الضوء على “منتدى البحري لصن من الرواد والخبراء العالميين في قطاع النقل البحري تحت شعار: ً ثلاثة “الفرص والتحديات في سوق ناقلات النفط”، وذلك بحضور مسؤولين من كبرى الشركات الإقليمية والعالمية في مجال النقل البحري. ، استضافت بحري النسخة الثانية من “منتدى البحري للبيانات ً أيضا من بينهم رؤساء تنفيذيين ً ضيفا 200 الضخمة” في دبي بحضور أكثر من ً وخبراء مختصين والذي وقعت “البحري للبيانات” على هامشه عقدا ً ، اتفاقية ً مع شركة “دي أن في جي أل” جمعية التصنيف الرائدة عالميا بهدف تطوير وتعزيز البيانات الضخمة. ً استراتيجية مشروع نيوم الذي شغل العالم بأسره، كان “بوصلة” هذا العدد، فتجولنا بتفاصيل المشروع الأضخم في المنطقة اليوم، أما في باب “إمداد”، فنستعرض معرئيس شركة البحري للبضائع السائبة المهندس “نزار بانبيله” شؤون قسم البضائع السائبة ونتحدث معه عن هذا القطاع الحيوي والهام لنتعرف إلى آخر أخباره واستراتيجيته للعام الجديد. وجعلنا من “بيونس آيرس” ميناء هذا العدد، حيث نأخذكم في جولة ثقافية ً وعملية إلى هذه المدينة الساحرة ومينائها الذي تعرفه سفن بحري جيدا ويعرفها. على أهمية ً ملؤه الصحة والنجاح والخير، ونؤكد دوما ً نتمنى لكم عاما ً معرفيا ً آرائكم وتواصلكم مع أسرة تحرير “مرساة” التي وجدت لتكون جسرا . بين موظفي البحري أو مع عملائنا
In addition, this issue will feature an interview with an inspiring figure in the maritime world, Eng. Abdullah Al-Yami, who is the first Saudi to become chief engineer of an oil tanker. We will highlight stories from his personal life and his career. Also, Mersat will shed light on the Bahri Oil Transportation Forum that was organized under the theme of “Tanker Market Opportunities and Challenges” and attended by senior regional and global maritime officials. It also hosted three of the world’s leading maritime transportation experts and thought leaders. Similarly, the magazine reports on Bahri’s second edition of the Bahri Big Data Forum in Dubai that was attended by more than 200 guests including CEOs and experts. At this important event, Bahri Data signed a strategic agreement with DNV GL, a quality assurance company, to co-develop and jointly leverage their big data capabilities. Neom, the recent project that hit the headlines locally and internationally, will also be detailed in this issue. Elsewhere, President of Bahri Dry Bulk Eng. Nezar Banabeela will discuss the current state of Bahri Dry Bulk and stress the importance of this vital sector, its news and strategy for the new year. We will stop by Buenos Aires to take you on a cultural tour to this charming city and its port, which is a prominent destination for Bahri ships.
