It has been a busy year for Bahri, which lead Mersat for much success already with the publication of this fourth issue. We are grateful for your views, which are highly respected and appreciated. This magazine acts as a bridge of communication and friendship between us and enriches our strong ties with those interested in the logistics sector around the world. We hope to add to your knowledge through this magazine, which features pages of news, interviews and articles. This issue coincides with the start of several projects in the Kingdom to advance the maritime transport and logistics sector through the investment of all our natural, geographic, technical and human resources. يتزامن عددنا هذا مع البدء بمشاريع عدة في المملكة للتقدم بقطاع النقل البحري والخدمات اللوجستية إلى ا مع استثمار جميع مواردنا الطبيعية والجغرافية والتقنية ً أكثر تقدم ً مكانة والبشرية. ا مع رئيسهيئة النقل العام، معالي الدكتور ً ا خاص ً ونقرأ في هذا العدد حوار رحب استعرض ٍ مجلة “مرساة” بلقاء ّ رميح بن محمد الرميح، الذي خص ا من الخطط المرسومة والجهود المبذولة للارتقاء بهذا القطاع ً فيه بعض ا. ً ا عالمي ً ا لوجستي ً الواعد وجعل المملكة مركز ومن داخل “البحري”، نسلط الضوء على منظومة عمل إدارة الموارد البشرية، فقد تعرضنا لاستراتيجية البحري في إدارة التوظيف، وما تميزت به من رعاية وتطوير المواهب واستقطاب مة على المستوى المحلي ّ الكفاءات اللازمة للارتقاء بمنظومة قي والعالمي. ا، ذلك الممر ً ا وجغرافي ً آخر، تعرضنا لقناة السويس تاريخي ٍ من جانب الملاحي الذي يصل الشرق بالغرب ويربط بين البحرين الأحمر والأبيض المتوسط، وما شهدته من أحداث كانت محور السياسة الدولية لسنوات ا حول الميناء الذي يمثل أهمية كبرى لحركة ً طويلة، وحققنا معلوماتي ا من مشاريع عملاقة تسهم في ً النقل العالمية وما تقوم به مصر حالي ا. ً تعظيم فائدته وأهميته إقليمي ونذهب بقرائنا في رحلة ماتعة إلى سنغافورة، البلد المعجز والذي تحول من أكبر الدول الاقتصادية ٍ في ظرف سنوات من الحطام إلى واحد والمصنعة حول العالم. ا، ً إن “مرساة” هي منصة إعلامية لنا جميع ً ولا بد لنا من التأكيد دوما ا ً نتشارك من خلالها الرأي والخبر والمقال والدراسات. وتفتح أبوابها دائم لمشاركاتكم وآرائكم. والله ولي التوفيق

Within Bahri, we highlight our Human Resources Management system. We will discuss our strategy in human capital management and our aim to nurture and develop talents as well as attract the necessary competencies to create a system that delivers value at local and international levels. On the other hand, we take you on a trip through the history and geography of the Suez Canal, the channel that connects the East and West and links the Red and Mediterranean Seas, we will also discuss the key events it has witnessed that made an impact on international politics over the years. You will find information about our operations on the canal that are of great importance to the global transport sector, as well as the steps taken by Egypt to implement giant projects that will help maximize the canal’s usefulness and regional significance. We will also go on a journey to Singapore, a wonderful country that has become one of the world’s largest economic and manufacturing nations despite a rocky history. We always emphasize that Mersat is a platform delivering important information for all of us and through which we share opinions, news, features and research. And we are always open to your views.
