مصطلح عام للأحكام والمواد والإمدادات المستخدمة على متن السفينة لصيانة الطاقم، وللملاحة، والدفع، وصيانة السفينة ومعداتها.
STORE
A general term for provisions, materials and supplies used aboard ship for the maintenance of the crew, and for the navigation, propulsion, and upkeep of the vessel and its equipment.
TOFC
مقطورة على عربة مسطحة، حاوية مع هيكل “شاسيه” أو سكة حديدية ممكن قطرها باستخدام عربة سكة حديدية.

MOORING LINE
سلسلة، أو كابل لربط السفينة.

بضائع أو أجزاء أو قطع من السفينة والتي يتم التخلص منها في البحر لتخفيف العبء في وقت الخطر أو للتحكم في السفينة المعطوبة.
Goods from a ship’s cargo or parts of its equipment that have been thrown overboard to lighten the load in time of danger or to set a stranded ship adrift

INMARSAT
شهادة استيراد صادرة عن الدول التي تمارس ضوابط الاستيراد ولا تسمح إلا باستيراد المواد المنصوص عليها في الترخيص، ويتم إصدار مثل هذا التصريح كل مرة يتم فيها تحرير العملات الأجنبية اللازمة لسداد قيمة الشحنة التي طلب ترخيص الاستيراد منها.
A certificate issued by countries exercising import controls that permits the importation of the articles stated in the license. The issuance of such a permit frequently is collected with the release of foreign exchange needed to pay for the shipment for which the import license has been requested.
IMPORT LICENSE
مقود أو عجلة مثبتة بشكل عام على الجسر أو غرفة القيادة في السفينة وذلك لتحويل الدفة أثناء المناورة والملاحة، وهو في الحقيقة عجلة القيادة للسفينة.
HELM
A tiller or a wheel generally installed on the bridge or wheelhouse of a ship to turn the rudder during maneuvering and navigation. It is in fact, the steering wheel of the ship.
