The number of Chinese companies registered at the port of Hamburg is almost 500, and other 700 companies in Hamburg have business relations with China, so we consider one-third of the containers are moving towards or coming from China. Several areas in the North Sea play an important role for the Hamburg port, starting with downloading cargo of large vessels to be transported via railways or trucks to Eastern Europe.
